What is a self care ritual without the flickering of a burning candle on your altar or by the bath?

It’s the small things that give ritual a sense of purpose. The more intention I bring forth with my effort, tools, and process, the more likely I am to keep coming back to a lovingly crafted experience. Acts of self care used to feel like a chore but now it’s one of the most grounding parts of my day.

Why Mamapachamama candles? These are hand-crafted by me with 100% USA beeswax, organic herbs or essential oil, and crystals.

Most candles on the market are made from soy or paraffin wax (eeeeeeek) which are polluting the air as you burn them. Beeswax, however, purifies the air when burned. The subtle honey aroma is intoxicating as well.

These candles were designed to serve two purposes. Honoring the element of fire in ritual, as well as incorporating plants that are revered for their ability to smudge the room and clear away toxic energy.

These are lovingly hand-crafted and will be subject to imperfections and variation. If you’re looking for a predictable perfection, this candle might not be for you.
